GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION
Essentially, this project consists in the improvement of existing structures of Glasgow motorways: M8, M73 and M74. At its conclusion, over 25 concrete structures will have been rebuilt and/or built from scratch, including pedestrian crossings, underpasses, retaining walls and protection structures.
This work will shorten the travelling time between Glasgow and Edinburgh in approximately 20 minutes, promoting passenger transport, goods and services. It will also allow the reduction of the pollutant emissions as well as noise level reductions, contributing to a better quality of life and air.
